On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 03.06.2016 11 mm vermutlich mal wieder Harpalus tardus in Feldflur
Species, family:
Harpalus serripes
Carabidae
LG, Christoph Guten Tag. Ist das nicht eher ein serripes? LG, Lukas Lukas hat Recht - eindeutig H. serripes. LG

Request: North of Portugal (Penafiel), on a typical agricultural farmer,on a night moth session,2016/OUT/28-29. CARABIDAE Lebia sp.?
Thank you (again)
Species, family:
Lebia trimaculata
Carabidae
Comment: Hello Carlos. That's Lebia trimaculata which would be a really cool find in central euope (there only known from Switzerland and one finding from Slovacia). It has it's premiere on kerbtier.de! Unfortunately, the biology is almost unknown. In Switzerland, they live only in the warmest and driest habitats. Thank you for the report. Cheers, Lukas
