On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Phyllotreta tetrastigma? Den Käfer habe ich an einem sumpfigen Bachufer im Wald gefunden. Kann leider die Pflanze, auf der er saß, nicht benennen :-( Ca. 3mm, 26.05.2016

Comment: Hallo zimorodek, ich würde den bestätigen als Phyllotreta tetrastigma, da der sehr danach aussieht. Man sieht aber weder den Nahtsaum noch die ersten Fühlerglieder gut genug um ganz sicher zu sein, daher lasse ich mal für eine Zweitmeinung stehen. Danke für die Meldung. ich vermute einen Tachinus signatus, Größe ca. 6 mm, gefunden am 10.5.2016 an einer Hauswand in Dingle/Südwestirland. Vielleicht schaut ja Thomas gelegentlich vorbei?
