On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Moin Heja, das ist Donacia simplex. Von semicuprea leicht zu unterscheiden, weil semicuprea zu den Arten der Gattung Donacia gehört, die stärker gewölbte Flügeldecken ohne Eindrücke haben und damit einer Plateumaris sehr ähnlich sehen. Spitzen der Flügeldecken gerundet, bei simplex eben abgestutzt. Viele grüße, Klaas

Comment: Moin Heja, gut als Vertreter der Plateumaris erkennbar (lippenartig erweiterte Flügeldeckennaht, Beule in den Vorderecken des Halsschildes, keinerlei Vertiefungen auf den Flügeldecken (letztes merkmal leider auch bei einigen Donacia-Arten, aber nie alle drei)).
