View answered requests for beetle ID
|
On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hi!
I found this "leafmines" in Cytisus, is coleoptera right?
Valongo, Porto, Portugal
18/12/14
Species, family:
Oryxolaemus scabiosus
Apionidae
Comment: Oi João, this looks very much like a beetle larva, but I can't determine it much further. My recommendation: If you find more of these leaf mines, rear them, take a photo of the hatched imago and post it here! Regards, Christoph Doing a bit of database cleaning: The later inquiry #21053 with the hatched adult brought the solution: Oryxolaemus scabiosus. Regards, Christoph

Request: 08.10.2015 3,2 mm. Ginsheimer Skaterbahn am Feldrand. Leider ultramiese Bilder.

In so fern also bestätigt. Viele Grüße, Klaas

Request: Hallo Kerbtier-Experten,
;-). Vielen Dank für die Meldung. Lg, Lukas
