On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Manfred, das ist kein Quedius. Der gehört in die Unterfamilie Aleocharinae. Es gibt zwar noch einige Verwechslungsmöglichkeiten, der hier sollte jedoch zur artenreichen Gattung Oxypoda gehören. Oxypoda acuminata wäre ein guter Kandidat aus meiner Sicht, aber wie das bei Aleocharinae eben so ist, die Bestimmung ist äußerst diffizil und ich muss es leider bei der Gattung belassen. Ich werde aus den Details in Foto C nicht so ganz schlau, aber prodromus sieht anders aus, oder? Comment: Hallo Christine, wie in der vorigen Anfrage besteht auch hier die Verwechslungsmöglichkeit mit Meloe mediterraneus, hier meine ich aber, Meloe rugosus zu erkennen.
