On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

dieser Rüsselkäfer kommt mit irgendwie bekannt vor aber ich konnte kein passendes Bild finden. Ich fand den Käfer auf dem Auto, daher kann der Käfer auch aus einem Wald der näheren Umgebung stammen. 7.5.2017, Größe ca. 2mm.

Comment: Hallo WernerK, das ist Caenorhinus aequatus, nach neuester Nomenklatur Tatianaerhynchites aequatus. Überall in Deutschland recht häufig, lebt an verschiedenen Rosaceaen. Am liebsten auf Weißdorn. Ab April zu finden, die neue Generation dann auch noch im Herbst. LG, Christoph
