On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 26.05.2017, ca. 15 Uhr. Protaetia aeruginosa, 27mm, Lichtung Eichenwald bei Legelshurst, Totfund. Auf einem blühenden Holunderbusch in der Nähe konnte ich auf ca. 4m Höhe neben diversen anderen Rosenkäfern ein weiteres Exemplar sehen. Dagegen steht z.B. in der Wikipedia, dass Blütenbesuch angezweifelt wird. Ich werde die kommenden Tage den Ort erneut aufsuchen, um hoffentlich ein Tier auf einer niedrig gelegenen Blüte ablichten zu können.
