On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Sauerampfer und Lichtnelke standen ineinander am 18.05.17 im Gimbsheimer Sand. Daraus kam dieser Spitzmausrüssler gepurzelt. (1,5-2mm).

ich vermute hier einen Phyllobius virideaeris, Größe ca. 5 mm, gefunden am 22.5.2017 auf einem alten Stück Holz an einer Autobahnraststätte in der Nähe von Lyon.

Request: Hallo Kerbtier-Team, 28.05.2017 in der Erlebniswelt Mendlingtal - Nationalpark Kalkalpen auf 635 m üNN. auf Pestwurzblatt. Größe ca. 10 mm. Der schaut aus wie ein "blattgedrückter" Laufkäfer - aber die Fühler passen nicht dazu, leider war nur ein einziges Foto möglich.... vielen Dank für die Bestimmungshilfe und beste Grüße, Hermann

Comment: Hallo Hermann, der gehört zu den Hirschkäfern (Lucanidae). Aufgrund der Mandibel-Form ist es Platycerus caprea. Im Vergleich zur Schwester-Art P. caraboides vor allem im montanen Bereich, was zum Fundort passen sollte. LG, Christoph
