Request: Noch ein Totfund: Laufkäfer, 16.06.2017 am Waldrand bei Obergriesbach, Körperlänge: ca. 13 mm (gemessen). Die Flügeldecken, auf den Fotos tendenziell schwarz, sehen im Licht eher braun aus. Danke fürs Anschauen und viele Grüße!

Comment: Hallo Schwabe, das ist eher kein Laufkäfer sondern so nen fieser Schwarzkäfer, der sich als Laufkäfer tarnt. Ist zwar nen bischen tot und daher nicht optimal zu sehen, sollte aber Stenomax aeneus sein. Danke für die Meldung. Viele Grüße, Holger

Comment: Hallo Andreas, das sieht nach einem Vertreter der Gattung Dermestes aus, also ein Speckkäfer. Käfer und Larven ernähren sich von organischen Stoffen, wie z.B. (Lebensmittel-) Vorräte, Wolle, Textilien, tierischen Überresten und können schädlich werden. Uns beissen sie allerdings eher nicht. LG, Christoph
