Comment: Hallo Heja, das ist Brachyta interrogationis. Von Frankreich bis Sibirien und Japan. In Europa boreomontan, d.h. in Skandinavien und den Gebirgslagen Südostdeutschlands, dazwischen mit Auslöschungszone. Auf Blüten von Geranium silvaticum, G. pratense, Paeonia, Trollius, Taraxacum und Skabiosen. Larve in den Wurzeln der Wirtspflanzen. RL 2. Danke für die Meldung. Viele Grüße, Moritz

Request: 02.06.2017 einige dieser Käfer spazierten auf den Ähren, die dort nur vereinzelnd sich auf eine Wiese verirrt hatten. Ich habe dort den Jakobskrautbär fotografiert, als ich diese Käfer sah. Gtreideplattkäfer? Er ist Ca. 3 cm lang

Comment: Hallo Christiane, das ist Agrypnus murina (bzw. murinus), ein Schnellkäfer. Oryzaephilus surinamensis ("Getreideplattkäfer") ist etwa 3mm, nicht 3cm lang (die Länge ist aber auch überschätzt, laut Literatur misst A. murinus 12-17mm). Vergleich die beiden Arten noch einmal genau, sie sehen doch sehr unterschiedlich aus. Auch in der Lebensweise unterscheiden sie sich deutlich, Agrypnus kommt auf Wiesen vor, Oryzaephilus ist ein Kulturfolger, der an Getreidevorräten und ähnlichem lebt, aber auch im Kompost, an faulendem Heu etc. Danke für die Meldung.
