On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Tännchen, das ist Dorcadion fuliginator. Der Fundzeitpunkt erscheint mir sehr spät für diese Art, aber weiter südlich mag die Phänologie dieser Art eine andere sein. Die Art kommt von Spanien bis Deutschland vor, bei uns erreicht sie ihre östliche Ausbreitungsgrenze. Viele Grüße, Moritz

Comment: Hallo Udo, das ist der Mehlkäfer Tenebrio molitor. Kulturfolger, lebt an stärkehaltigen Produkten, wie Mehl, Getreide, Backwaren, etc. und kann daran schädlich werden. Heute mehr im trockenen Kot der Stadttauben und anderen Vogel- oder Flugsäugerkot-Ansammlungen. Nachtaktiv und flugfähig, wird von Licht angelockt. LG, Christoph

Comment: Hallo KD, hier geht es für mich leider nur bis zur Unterfamilie Galerucinae. Falls man als User die die Wirtspflanze bestimmen kann, sollte man sie bei denen immer angeben, damit geht's meist weiter. Hier geht's trotz Ampfer für mich nicht weiter *seufz*. LG, Christoph Hallo KD, sieht für mich schon nach einem Tier aus dem Galerucella nymphaeae Komplex aus. Dann würde Ampfer (Rumex gehört zu Polygonaceae) schon für Galerucella aquatica sprechen, nur sind Foto und Perspektive suboptimal und ich bin mir nicht sicher, zudem kann sich ein Tier auch immer mal von einer Nachbarpflanze dorthin verflogen haben. Bleibt also leider bei der Gruppenbestimmung oben. Gruß Holger
