On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Frank, hier hast du in der falschen Familie gesucht. Das ist Exapion fuscirostre, also ein Apionide. Lebt an Besenginster (Cytisus scoparius), in dessen Samen sich die Larven entwickeln. Ich nehme an, du hast hier Ginster und Besenginster verwechselt. Comment: Hallo Leonhardt, richtig erkannt, bestätigt als Gaurotes virginea. Die Art ist etwas farbvariabel, der Halsschild kann auch rot sein. Ähnlich wird vielleicht noch Dinoptera collaris, die meist einen roten Halsschild hat, in seltenen Fällen kann aber auch schwarz sein. Jene Art ist aber auch kleiner und wenn man genau hinschaut, sollte man Gaurotes virginea eher nicht verwechseln können. Viele Grüße, Moritz
