View answered requests for beetle ID
|
On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

ca. 6 mm
vermutlich Lilioceris lilii
Species, family:
Pyrochroa coccinea
Pyrochroidae

Country, date (discovery):
France

*g*). Viele Grüße, Klaas

Request: in bedroom
Species, family:
Tribolium sp.
Tenebrionidae
Comment: Hi obfr, this should be one of our Tribolium species. They are pests in stored products, e.g. cereals, pulses, seeds, raisins and others. I guess, somewhere at your home you have an infested package of one of the above goods. Once you have found and removed it, they'll disappear quickly. LG, Christoph - PS: I removed the other photo (a ground beetle). Please post always one species only per request.

Request: 15.08.2017; Gesamtlänge ca. 25 mm. Evtl. Monochamus sutor LG
Species, family:
Monochamus galloprovincialis
Cerambycidae
