On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Über diesen schwer lädierten Harpalus habe ich mir lange den Kopf zerbrochen, aber es ist wohl doch nur ein Harpalus affinis mit sehr wenig Borsten. Am 3.9.17 auf sandiger Brache unter einem Stein (auf den wohl auch schon mal jemand draufgetreten ist), 10 mm. Liebe Grüße Kalli

Comment: Hallo Kalli, über den haben wir länger diskutiert und mit leider nur einem Foto ist da nicht viel zu machen. Am ehesten kommt noch Harpalus smaragdinus hin, aber nur mit Bauchschmerzen. Wären mehr Bilder - vielleicht auch aus anderen Perspektiven - vorhanden, ginge vielleicht was. Viele Grüße, Fabian

Request: 12.09.2017, Gießen, aus den unterhalb der Knospe eines Habichtskrautes abgelegten Eiern von Stenoria analis schlüpften die Larven erst, nachdem die Blüte bereits verblüht war (A). Die Larven ursprünglich noch unter den leeren Eihäuten sitzend, kletterten an die Spitze des Fruchtstandes (B), was ihre Chance auf einen Kontakt mit einer Biene sicher verbessern sollte (B). Leider öffnete sich der Fruchtstand und die Larventraube wurde auseinandergerissen. Kleine Gruppen von Larven sitzen jetzt isoliert von einander auf den Flughaaren der Früchte und warten auf einen Lift (C).
