On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Eine zweite Art Gibbium aequinoctiale, die am Foto nicht von G. psylloides unterschieden werden kann, kommt vermutlich auch in Deutschland vor und wird aus umliegenden Ländern bereits seit einer Weile gemeldet. Request: This 4 mm long beetle I found 06.12.2017. in the trap in my yard in Beli potok near Belgrade. Look like beetle had 3 orange lines on the elytra which only half visible on the photo. Maybe some Trechus sp.

Comment: Moin Ingo, aus meiner sicht aus dieser Perspektive nicht zu klären, vor allem auch deshalb, weil es ums Mittelmeer weitere Arten der Gattung gibt, die ich nicht kenne. Laut Fauna.eu kommt keine im ehemaligen Jugoslawien vor, aber die ist bekanntermaßen nicht komplett. In so fern Lagria spec. Viele Grüße, Klaas

Comment: Hallo Rüsselkäferin, wenn man zu faul für den Schlüssel ist hilft raten manchmal auch. Sitona cylindricollis ist auf jeden Fall richtig. Hier sieht man auch die typische doppelte Punktierung grob/fein auf dem Pronotum richtig gut, besser als auf frischen Exemplaren, bei denen dieses Merkmal unter Schuppen verborgen sein kann... Gehört an Melilotus, der aber im Oktober natürlich schon vertrocknet ist. Danke für die Meldung. Viele Grüße, Michael
