|
On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 10.11.2017. This Cantharis larva I found at the wall of church in Beli potok near Belgrade. Larva was long between 12 and 13 mm. Someone told me that this is probably Cantharis fusca larva because larvae of C.fusca known to be active even during snowy winters. Cantharis species in my area (which I found) are C. rustica, C. livida and C. pellucida. My friend found C. fusca so I don't know are these larvae have some species characteristics or all are the same? Thanks you in advance!
Species, family:
Cantharis sp.
Cantharidae
Comment: Hi Dendzo86, in this case I can just confirm the genus Cantharis. Best regards, Christoph

Species, family:
Pentodon cf. idiota
Scarabaeidae

Suikat). LG, Christoph
