On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo, 10.05.2017, Ungarn, Nyirkai Hany, Phyllobius pomaceus ? Vielen Dank + Grüße Claudia
Species, family:
Phyllobius sp.
Curculionidae

Request: Under a rock in oak wood, North Wales, about 100 m altitude, 30 November 2017. 3.5-3.6 mm long. This is the same beetle as no. 83931. Thanks for your identification, Klaas, but it lacks the 7th stria. (If sutural stria is no.1. You don't count scutellary stria?) Is it still B. biguttatum, please? John
Species, family:
Bembidion sp.
Carabidae
Comment: Hi John, I can't tell if you're counting wrong or me. On photo A in #83931 stria seven is more or less well seen. I don't see it lacks. And yes, sutural stria is no.1, you don't count the scutellary stria. so at least photos might be to bad for an ID. At least I would Need to see the beetle itself. Best regards, Klaas

Species, family:
Sitona striatellus

Request: Huhu! Was meint Ihr? Vielen lieben Dank!
Species, family:
Pseudoperapion brevirostre
Apionidae
