On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Species, family:
Leiopus femoratus
Cerambycidae

Request: Hello. Which Ampedus is it? 14.5.2017, Slovakia, Kosice. Size ca 10mm. Thank you. Regards, Karol.
Species, family:
Ampedus cf. pomorum
Elateridae
Comment: Hi Karol, in this case I can just determine the genus Ampedus. Best regards, Christoph Most possibly Ampedus pomorum. New genetical research for Ampedus nemoralis showed that this species is just a form of Ampedus pomorum. Like most of the of pomorum confined species were brought back to this species. Best regards, Klaas

LG, Christoph

Request: Hallo,
6607/322 Elm-Sprengen am 11.05.2017
Waldrand, ca.20 "Zigarren" an Hainbuche
vG Michael
Species, family:
cf. Byctiscus betulae
Rhynchitidae
