On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo Käferfreunde, da ihr ja aktuell verstärkt auf hygrophile Käfer steht, wollte ich auch mal meinen Teil dazu beitragen. 15.04.2018, Weiher mitten im Wald. Egal wie munter man gekeschert hat, stets gab´s nur Molche in großer Zahl (Foto B) oder äußerst innovative Köcherfliegenlarven (Foto C). Dann halt mal Begleitfauna statt Habitatfoto... Die Wasserkäferausbeute blieb jedenfalls sehr überschaubar und der Kollege war rund 17 mm groß. Beste Grüße!

Request: Gleicher Weiher, die zweite Art waren dann die hier. 15.04.2018 und rund 15 mm groß. Leider sehr, sehr hektisch. Stillsitzen wollten sie keine Sekunde, daher auch die extrem schlechten Aufnahmen.
