On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 18.04.2017; Moorwald, an verpilztem Totholz (vermutlich Fichte). 470m üNn. Ca.3,5-4mm. Wohl schwer zu sagen... ich vermute Rhizophagus depressus.

Comment: Hallo Markus, depressus kann es nicht sein, denn der hat einen nach vorn erweiterten 2. Flügeldeckenzwischenraum, in dem sich einige überzählige Punkte befinden. Dieser hier hat dagegen sehr geordnete Punktreihen. Ich komme mit den Merkmalen auf Rhizophagus ferrugineus, bin aber unsicher. Noch eine zweite Meinung? Request: Der angefügte Rüsselkäfer, ich tippe auf Hylobius abietis und gleich vorweggenommen kann fliegen, fand ich an meiner Hausmauer. Funddaten : Österreich, Land Salzburg, Bruck an der Glocknerstraße, 24.04.2018, Größe 12-15 mm.
Ähnliche Arten fand ich lt. Bildbestimmung auf verschiedene Internetseiten z.B. Liparus glabrirostris, kann aber nicht fliegen.
Bitte um Bestimmungshilfe bzw. um Korrektur oder Bestätigung.
