On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

wenn ich dieses Kerlchen (2mm) von Klee geschüttelt hätte, würde ich auf Protapion fulvipes tippen. Aber tatsächlich schüttelte ich ihn am 20.04.18 an einem der Gimbsheimer Anglerseen von einer Trauerweide....

Comment: Moin dd, A. quercicola ist eine der sehr intensiv rot gefärbten Arten. Die wäre am Foto definitiv nicht leicht bis unmöglich zu bestimmen, weil es hier dann auf Details ankommt, die im Foto meist nicht zu sehen sind. Nach Einziehung der meisten von ihr abgetrennten Arten (ich glaube nur noch eine ist valide), kann man mit gutem Gewissen sagen, dass das hier Ampedus pomorum ist. Viele Grüße, Klaas
