On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 29.04.2018; Moorrandwald, unter feuchtem Fichtentotholz. 480m üNn. Ca.4mm. Jetzt kommt der untere der Beiden (Foto C) dran.... Er scheint den Pityophagus ferrugineus fast mitteilen zu wollen, dass er den selben Vornamen hat... ergo vermute ich Rhizophagus ferrugineus.

Request: Diesen Melolontha melolontha vom 30.4.18 zeige ich nur, weil ich zu den Anmerkungen von Corinna in #90705 noch etwas beisteuern wollte. Auch ich hätte erst 2019 wieder ein Maikäferjahr erwartet... aber dann war die Maikäferdichte hier schon dieses Jahr extrem. Einige Beispiele: Normalerweise finde ich etwa einen Maikäfer pro Jahr am Hauseingang... dieses Jahr saßen da gleich vier auf einmal, weitere an der Hauswand, andere schwirrten um die Laterne. Am Ortsrand flog gleichzeitig etwa ein Dutzend um 2, 3 Büsche und Bäume - nicht mal Eichen sondern Obstbäume und Sträucher. Vor der Zapfsäule der Tankstelle lagen etwa zehn Stück auf dem Boden, und im Getränkemarkt hieß es, sie sind schon ins Büro reingeflogen. Der ganze 'Spuk' dauerte nicht mal eine Woche, jetzt sind es schon nur noch einzelne. Ich bin gespannt auf nächstes Jahr und darauf, wie der belastete Wald im Ried reagiert. LG Kalli
