On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo, liebes Käferteam, ein gewaltiger Dorcus parallelipipedus, Größe ca. 29 mm (ich wundere mich - rein physikalisch - ja immer noch, wie diese "Schwergewichte" die senkrechten Mauern raufkrabbeln können). Request: Hallo, liebes Käferteam, könnte ein mit Blütenstaub bestäubter Epuraea unicolor sein, Größe ca. 3 mm, gefunden am 05.05.2018 im Weingut Benz in Elsenz/Kraichgau. Den letzten Epuraea unicolor hatte ich sonderbarerweise auch in einem Weingut im Nachbarort gefunden; wie den Finder zieht es die wohl auch gern dorthin...). Viele Grüße, Manfred

Request: 05.05.2018 4,5 mm ich versuchs jetzt einfach mal. Ichhatte in der Betonröhre bereits mehrere Atholus corvinus verdachtsfälle. der hier hat 4 volle Streifen. Nur einen Streifen am Halsschildvorderrand (Bild A) und Vorars.. ist deutlich gröber punktiert als der Ars..

Request: Gefunden am 5.5.2018. Der Käfer war so ca. 6mm groß. Frisst an einem Halm. Wegen Fundort (Feuchtbiotop, NSG) und Habitus bin ich auf Cantharis paludosa gekommen. Vielen Dank schon mal für Bestimmungshilfe.

Request: 28.04.2018 - Dasytes sp.? Ich habe gehofft, von diesen kleinen Kerlchen endlich einmal ein vernünftiges Foto aufnehmen zu können. Vor Ort bin ich auch jedes Mal zuversichtlich. Am Bildschirm sieht es dann aber anders aus ... Sand, Pollen, Dreck ... was da so alles im Fell hängen bleibt :-( Aargau, Krautschicht am Waldwegrand, Kaisten auf ca. 330 m üNN.
