On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Diese Käfer, vielleicht Alleculidae?, war 13-04-2018 auf ein Dill-pflanz auf Zypern. Er war vielleicht 1 cm groß.

Request: 08.05.2018 Cicindela campestris mit Zwischenstopp auf Garagendach. So einen wollte ich schon immer mal fotografieren. Ich hab nur etwas Grünes anfliegen sehen, welches sich dann auf eine gepflasterte Einfahrt setzte. Bein Anpirschen flog der Käfer gleich wieder auf. Durch einen geschickten Wink konnte ich ihn dann in die Blumenrabatte umlenken. Doch benommen flog der Käfer gleich weiter auf das Garagendach. Dort gelangen mir 2 Fotos bevor er einfach davon flog. Urbane Bebauung, 580 m ü. NN, Osterzgebirge. Viele Grüße
