On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 11.05.2018; am Rand eines Gehölzes in der Krautschicht umherturnend. 480m üNn. Ca.3,5mm. Puh... vermute einen Anthonomus, aber welcher? Sieht irgendwie abgewetzt aus. Dachte kurz an einen abgeschabten Furcipus rectirostris, aber der war kleiner und irgendwie schmaler, oder ist's doch was Besseres oder, oh Schreck, unbestimmbar?

Comment: Hallo Markus, doch, doch, mit dem geraden Rüssel kann es nur Furcipus rectirostris sein. Mittlerweile gehört der übrigens in die Gattung Anthonomus, aber hier wird er noch unter dem älteren (und lustigerem) Namen geführt. Kein Wunder, dass der so abgeschrubbelt ist, scheint ja ein Hyperaktiver zu sein ;). Danke für die Meldung. Viele Grüße, Corinna

11.05.2018 - ich schwanke zwischen Amara ovata und similaris.
Es waren einige (ca.30) dieser Käfer auf Grashalmen in der Abendsonne.
Körpergröße: ca. 10mm

Request: Hallo zusammen. Diese Magdalis cerasi fand ich auf Prunus cerasus, was perfekt zur Biologie dieser Art passt. Das Tageslicht war leider schon grottig, die Fotos dementsprechend.
