On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Gefunden am 29.04.18 in Mailand nahe des Piazza Reale in der belebten Innenstadt. Ist auf meiner Hand gelandet, daher nur ein verwackeltes Foto möglich, da der Kleine auch schnell wieder weg war. Körperlänge ca. 3mm

Request: Die Gattung Oodes hatte ich noch nie, deswegen fällt mir die Unterscheidung nicht leicht, zumal die Tarsen nicht helfen. Aber ich denke mal, das ist Oodes helopioides. Am 27.4.18 in einem feuchten Graben, knapp 9 mm. Besten Dank und LG

Comment: Hallo Kalli, richtig erkannt als Oodes helopioides. Die andere europäische Art O. gracilis ist etwas schlanker und die Halsschildseiten sind zur Basis hin mehr verengt. Wenn man senkrecht von oben aufgenommene Fotos vergleichen kann, ist es recht eindeutig, so auch hier - dank der guten Dorsalaufnahmen (vor allem Foto B). Danke für die Meldung. Viele Grüße, Corinna
