On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 19.5.18, ca 1cm groß, gefunden unter dem Brett unten links in Bild C zwischen Wald, mit Laubbäumen und Büschen aufgeforsteter Fläche und nahe eines Sees.
Zuerst dachte ich an das Artenpaar Pterostichus nigrita/rhaeticus, aber nach Vergleich kommt es mir vor, als hätte mein Tier mehr Linien auf den Fld.
Also bin ich bereit für eine weitere Lektion

Request: 19.5.18, Größe nicht gemessen, geschätzt 7mm, Für mich ist das ein Harpalus, die rötlichen Beine, in Bild B ein angedeutet verfärbter Hinterleib, ich bin bei Harpalus picipennis gelandet, aber ich glaub nicht, dass der das ist.

zwei dieser Käfer (einmal 3 mm und einmal 2,5 mm lang) fand ich am 18.5.18 auf einem Trockenhang an Helianthemum nummularium (in der Nähe von Furth im Wald, Bayerischer Wald). Ich würde die Tiere als Bruchidius cisti bestimmen. Liege ich damit richtig?
