View answered requests for beetle ID
|
On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo,
Joerg
Species, family:
Phytoecia nigricornis
Cerambycidae
Comment: Hallo Joerg, yup, Phytoecia coerulescens (inzwischen Opsilia coerulescens genannt). LG, Christoph Hi Joerg, that might need a change. Eyes are narrowed but not completely divided into two, what makes Opsilia coerulescens not very likely. The ends of the elytra are not rounded but triangular cut. I would propose Phytoecia nigricornis julii. LG, Christoph

Request: 22.05.2018, Derendingen, 10 mm, Ophonus ardosiacus?
LG, Christoph
