Request: It's Lachnaia tristigma???
Central Portugal - 12.06.2013
Species, family:
Lachnaia sp.
Chrysomelidae
Comment: Oi Isaias, I would agree with you regarding the genus Lachnaia, but there are no less than 6 species of the genus present in Portugal (L. cylindrica, hirta, paradoxa, pubescens, puncticollis and tristigma) and all of them are pretty similar. Little chance to get this determined by photo. At least, I can't do it. Regards, Christoph

LG, Christoph

Request: Sehr geehrtes Bestimmungsteam

In Mitteleuropa häufig. Gruß, Lennart

Request: Seit ca. 1 Monat ab 15.01.2014 beobachte ich viele solche Tiere in meiner Wohnung. Sie sind ca. 2,5 - 3 mm groß, beissen nicht.
Species, family:
Anobiidae sp.
Anobiidae

Request: Hi, size 5mm, 2.3.2014, Slovakia,
Species, family:
Nalassus dermestoides
Tenebrionidae
Comment: Hi Cilko, again one of the two representatives of the genus in Slovakia, N. laevioctostriatus and N. dermestoides. Difficult to judge from photos. A look at the chagrination of the pronotum and the puncture of the elytra under a binocular would help. Regards, Christoph This is a clear N. dermestoides. Regards, klaas

Request: Hallo! Bayern, 23. Februar.
Species, family:
Dytiscidae sp.
Dytiscidae
Comment: Hallo Dennis, definitiv kein Dytiscus marginalis.

Danke!
Species, family:
Corticariini sp.
Latridiidae
