On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 31.05.2018 - Drilus sp.??
Was die Weibchen angeht: TJA!

Species, family:
Anobium sp.

Comment: Hi hania, this is Anobium pertinax. Best regards, Christoph Hi hania, unfortunately we change this one to Anobium sp., Anobium pertinax (meanwhile placed in genus Hadrobregmus) should have golden hair on the posterior lateral margins of the pronotum. I think this should be one of the three species that still remain in genus Anobium, maybe Anobium punctatum, but I cannot give a species ID here unfortunately. Sorry and best regards, Moritz
