Request: am 28.5.18 fand ich diesen Käfer (ca.5mm) auf der Magerwiese des Badbergs. Keider war er fotoscheu, könnt Ihr trotzdem etwas zu ihm sagen?

Request: Moin, dieser Rüsselkäfer wurde am 8.6.2018 auf Korsika beobachtet. Mein erster Eindruck ist: Palmenbohrer, Rhynchophorus ferruginea. Etwa 23 mm ohne Rüssel.
Kann man diese laienhaft oberflächliche Bestimmung verifizieren? Danke!

Comment: Hallo Aloinopsis, ja das ist Rhynchophorus ferrugineus, im Volksmund Roter Palmen-Rüsselkäfer genannt. Erst seit einigen Jahren ums Mittelmeer herum zu finden. Seine Larven entwicklen sich im Palmholz und zerstören so die Palme relativ schnell und bringen sie zum Absterben. Viele Grüße, Fabian

gestern habe ich mich bei den Massen an Bestimmungsanfragen nicht getraut, den auch noch einzustellen. Chapeau, wie ihr die heute runtergeackert habt! Ne Menge Arbeit, die ihr euch da macht. Danke.
Heute trau ich mich wieder. Diesen für mich mit 11 mm ungewöhnlich riesigen der grün-kugeligen Blattkäfer fand ich am 06.06.18 an einem ehemaligen Rieselfeld direkt am Strand im Schilf sitzen. Ein Neufund für mich: Chrysolina graminis
