On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 21.03.2019 - (KI: Philonthus decorus, 17%, Rang 1) das Tier landete direkt vor mir auf dem Waldweg, sonst hätte ich es wohl kaum bemerkt, so gut wie die Tarnfarben auf den Weg passen. Es hat mich nur kurz bedroht und ist dann kooperativ in meine Spanschachtel gelaufen, in der es von Klein-Kerbie identifiziert wurde. Ich selbst hätte mich wiederum nur bis Philonthus ap. vorgewagt. Das Tier war deutlich kleiner als das Individuum vom 17.03. Aargau, Hardwald Kaisten auf ca. 330 m üNN. Vielen lieben Dank für Eure lehrreichen Bestimmungsantworten! LG Chris

Request: 22.03.2019 ca. 1 cm Cucujus cinnaberinus unter einem lose aufliegenden Stück Weidenrinde also wohl schon fast aktiv. Kann aber auch sein, dass er den Platz wechseln musste, denn die riesige alte Weide ist im Sturm zerbrochen und jetzt teilweise in Stücke zersägt worden. Ich befürchte die wird zu Bennholz
