Request: 19.04.2019 - (KI: Staphylinus erythropterus, 5%, Rang 2) Ich denke, dass man Klein-Kerbie hier mit Nachsicht begegnen muss, denn auf Rang 1 war mit gleichem Prozentsatz St. fossor. Der sieht sehr ähnlich aus, zumal das Schildchen auf Foto A recht dunkel wirkt. Das Tier war 17 - 18 mm gross ... gemessen, aber die Drohstellung dabei hat die KL sicher verkürzt. Ich konnte mich auch nur für die Art entscheiden, weil Moritz das in der Bestimmungantwort 88229 so ausführlich erklärt hat. Dafür bedanke ich mich nochmals sehr! Aargau, lief-mir-einfach-über-den-Waldweg im Hardwald Kaisten auf ca. 330 m üNN. Danke vielmals für Eure stets lehrreichen Bestimmungsantworten! Eine spannende Käfernacht wünscht Euch Chris

als erstes möchte ich Euch schöne Ostertage wünschen. Dieses circa 8 mm lange Tier habe ich heute (19.04.2019) in Zwillbrock, NRW, gesehen. Ich vermute, es ist ein Vertreter der Oedemeridae, eventuell eine Ischnomera sp. Aber so richtig komme ich nicht weiter. Was sagt Ihr dazu? Geht da was auf Artebene?

Request: 19.04.2019 - (KI: Oxythyrea funesta, 11%, Rang 2) Da sind nochmals ZWEI Individuen auf/in Löwenzahnblüten ... der obere kleine Dreckspatz verdeckt die Dame völlig :-/ Ich habe das wegen der besseren Habitatfotos auch noch eingestellt. Der schmale Gras-/Obstbaumstreifen liegt zwischen zwei Saaten und ich habe ihn nun von beiden Seiten aufgenommen. Aargau, Oeschgen auf ca. 330 m üNN. diesen circa 6 mm langen Käfer (Curculio sp.) habe ich heute, am 19.04.2019, im NSG Zwillbrocker Venn beobachtet. Es saß mit zwei Artgenossen unter einem Haselstrauch, Eichen habe ich in unmittelbarer Nähe nicht gesehen. Da ist es doch recht wahrscheinlich, dass es sich um Curculio nucum handelt, oder was denkt Ihr?
