On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 19.04.2019 - Othius sp.??? Das elegante Tier lief mir einfach so ins Bild, als ich versuchte, seine grossen Familienangehörigen der nachfolgenden Anfrage zu fotografieren. Es "stolperte" dann leider in einer flachen Bodensenke über eine kleine Larve der Marke "Unknown". Das hat meinen Focus auf die Fld. Struktur gelenkt, was dem Tier vielleicht einen Namen verschafft. Es war geschätzt 12 ehre 13 mm gross. Aargau, Hardwald Kaisten auf ca. 330 m üNN. Vielen lieben Dank für Eure geduldigen Hilfestellungen! LG Chris

Request: Hier habe ich doch noch einen anderen Vertreter, ich glaube, es ist Agriotes lineatus. Gefunden am 17.04.2019 hinter einem Stein am Haus, vielleicht 9 mm lang. Als ich ihn leicht berührte, machte er einen Satz und war weg. Nochmals Gruß und Dank
