On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 28.04.2019 7,5 - 8 mm. An einem kleinen Waldsee unter Holz. Die Größe hätte mir zu denken geben müssen und dass der immer in so seifige Farben geschillert hat. Ich habe den aber einfach unter lacerosus abgelegt und mir die Nester der Prozessionsspinner angesehen (es juckt immer noch) und ich Idiot hab den nicht umgedreht. Der Halsschild ist aber so klein, dass ich schon denke man kann Badister unipustulatus draus machen

Comment: Hallo Don Benito, der ist knifflig! Ich vermute ihn in der Umgebung der Gattung Graptus, wobei der skulpturiert erscheinende Halsschild Richtung Rhytideres geht. Zu letzterem passt aber der Rüssel nicht, eher wieder zu Graptus. Mit der spanischen Käferfauna bin ich allerdings nicht vertraut und lasse meine Vermutungen mal als Anregung für die anderen stehen. Vielleicht hat hier jemand eine zündende Idee. Viele Grüße, Corinna PS: Das Team hat mich dem Rüssel gegenüber etwas milder gestimmt -> momentan tendieren wir zu Rhytideres, z.B. R. plicatus. Ich würde hier auch einen Rhytideres plicatus sehen. Das cf. lassen wir trotzdem besser mal stehen. LG, Christoph
