On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Kryp, und da isser schon! :D. Ein hübsches Männchen, das sollte Curculio venosus sein. Zumindest sehe ich in Fotos B und C einen erhabenen Schuppenkamm am hinteren Teil der Flügeldeckennaht. Man sieht sogar den Zahn am Hinterschenkel, und der sieht für mich am Innenrand konkav ausgebuchtet zu sein. Ich bitte um eine Zweitmeinung. Foto A ist witzig :). Viele Grüße, Corinna Paßt! Comment: Hallo Kryp, da musst Du ein paar Gattungen weiter gucken und kommst zu Anthonomus rubi, einfarbig dunkelgrau mit dem typischen weißen Schildchen. In Fotos B und C kannst Du sehr schön sehen, wie die Flügeldecken hinter der Mitte am breitesten sind. Das ist charakteristisch für Anthonomus, die Curculio-Arten sind dagegen kurz hinter der Schulter am breitesten und nach hinten zu mehr oder weniger rasch verengt. Danke für die Meldung.
