On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Lars, das ist ein kleiner Exot, der in Deutschland meines Wissens nicht vorkommt. Entsprechend wenig kenne ich mich damit aus und komme nicht weiter als Unterfamilie Entiminae. Dazu gehören z.B, zwar auch Phyllobius und Polydrusus, aber Dein Tierchen geht eher so in die Richtung Sitona, Strophosoma, Brachyderes und Peritelus. Von all denen hat er ein bisschen was, muss aber m.M. nach zu einer weiteren Gattung gehören, die ich nicht kenne. Schade! Viele Grüße, Corinna

Comment: Hallo konradZ, das ist Phyllobius maculicornis. Es sieht so ein bisschen aus, als hätte er ein weißes Schildchen, aber das kommt nur daher, das drumherum die Schuppen abgeschrubbelt sind. Der pyri hat auch einen kürzer und breiter gebauten Rüssel. Viele Grüße, Corinna

Comment: Hallo Azuro, Phaedon hätte deutliche Punktstreifen auf den Flügeldecken. Den hier halte ich für entweder Chrysolina varians oder Plagiodera versicolora, mit starker Tendenz zum ersteren, weil ich mir einbilde, auf Foto C ein metallisches Fühlerbasisglied zu sehen.
