On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: in a garden, the 23.07.2014, in France, Oxelaëre
Species, family:
Amara aenea
Carabidae
Comment: Hi Thomas L., this is a species of the genus Amara. Not 100% sure but with the very flat elytral stripes and the sharp impressions on the pronotum it should be Amara aenea. Ubiquitous, distributed throughout the palearctis, naturalizd in the US. Best regards, Oliver

Species, family:
Trypocopris cf. vernalis

Species, family:
Anoplotrupes stercorosus
Geotrupidae

LG, Christoph
