On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Can you help ID.
Thank you in advance and greet from Slovakia
Species, family:

Request: From Slovakia. 13.08.2014. Sphaeroderma testaceum ?
Species, family:
Chrysomelidae sp.
Chrysomelidae
Comment: Hi Inja, confirmed as Sphaeroderma testaceum. Thanks for submitting. Best regards, Christoph Agreed. Best wishes, Michael I doubt it. It's not. By far to elongate and the habit of the pronotum is wrong for a Sphaeroderma. This is no Spheroderma. Maybe Asiorestia, but no Sphaeroderma. Regards, Klaas What now? => Photo from dorsal view! Until then: Chrysomelidae sp.! Regards, Christoph

Was nun?
Dankesgruß,Omo.
Species, family:
Carabus granulatus
Carabidae
