On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Liebe Käferexperten,
diesen mir unbekannten Marienkäfer habe ich gestern in einem Gebüsch am Rande eines Siedlungsgebiets gefunden. Er war circa 5 - 6 mm lang und wirkte hinsichtlich seines Körperbaus eher wie H. axyridis als A. obliterata, der mir spontan in den Sinn kam. Aber das passt irgendwie nicht. Vielleicht könnt Ihr ja helfen? Ich würde mich sehr freuen. Danke!
