On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: T. rugosus ist am Fuchs nicht mehr zu finden, dafür ist Thanatophilus sinuatus jetzt da. Bild B hätte ich mir sparen können, dispar ist ja in HS aktuell nicht mehr gemeldet. 14.5.20, 13 mm. Danke!

Comment: Hallo Kalli, bestätigt als Thanatophilus sinuatus. T.dispar war im Westen von D schon immer selten bis extrem selten. Funde meist reiner Zufall, also Hoffnung nicht aufgeben und bedenken, dass man diese Käfer meist nicht an so attraktiven Orten wie Blüten findet ; ) und so nicht jeder danach sucht. Request: Diesen Schnelli fand ich am 18.5.20 auf Ahorn und dachte erst, es ist ein Cardiophorus, aber jetzt denke ich, der Scutellarlappen und die Tiefe der Buchten daneben ähneln doch sehr dem Dicronychus cinereus von neulich. 9 mm. Vielen Dank und viele Grüße
