On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Gefunden am 26.6.2020 in 1220 Wien, Essling. Habe ihn aus der Regenwassertonne gefischt, Länge circa 8 mm. KI ergab Onthophagus coenobita (ertgereiht). Hat sich wieder erholt und ist weitergeflogen ... Mit der Bitte um Bestätigung. Danke Rudi

Comment: Hallo Tomm, hier geht es für mich leider nur bis zur Unterfamilie Aleocharinae. Normalerweise findet man dort immer die Gattung Gyrophaena. Hier bin ich mir aber zu unsicher, in Foto B könnten wir auch eine Atheta oder was ähnliches haben. Sorry und viele Grüße, Hannes
