View answered requests for beetle ID
|
On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: gestern, 13.03.2015 ca. 4-5mm?
Tonne... evtl. Stenus sp.? Neuzugang dort...
Species, family:
Stenus sp.
Staphylinidae
LG, Christoph

Request: Leiopus spec. ? found 07-07-2012 13:57 in Belgium (ref 69647768)
Species, family:
Leiopus femoratus
Cerambycidae
Comment: Hi Gert, here I have to change my initial assessment after an external correction independently by K. Hadulla and P. Winkler: It is Leiopus femoratus, with relatively small lateral spines at the sides of the pronotum. The specimen should have been also rather small. Southeastern European species, meanwhile recorded in France, Luxembourg and in Germany. Your discovery might be the first for Belgium. Nice discovery! LG, Christoph

Request: Liebe Experten,
