On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Habitat: Totfund auf Gehsteig im Ortszentrum.
Länge: ca. 25 mm.
Art: Aufgrund des verlängerten Pygidiums und des schwarzen Halsschilds kommt Melolontha melolontha in die engere Wahl.

Request: Dieser kleine Käfer saß am 08.05.2021 an einer Narzissenblüte. Größe vielleicht 2-3mm. Ähnliche Käfer habe ich bei den Rhynchitidae entdeckt, z.B. Caenorhinus pauxillus. Leider habe ich kein weiteres / besseres Foto. Lässt sich die Art bestimmen? Viele Grüße!
