On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Naturbursche08, das sollte Carabus granulatus sein, allerdings mit etwas Restunsicherheit bezüglich ulrichii, weil das Pronotum scheinbar die breiteste Stelle vor der Mitte hat. Carabus arvensis hätte drei schwach ausgeprägte Streifen zwischen den ebenfalls nicht so deutlichen Kettenreihen. Danke für die Meldung. Request: Guten Morgen! Gut, dass er nicht 2cm tiefer lief, dann hätte ich ihn vielleicht übersehen. Das sollte Cryptolestes duplicatus sein, die vermutlich namensgebende Doppelung des Halsrandes ist gut zu erkennen, im Bestimmungsschlüüsel ganz oben; Glück gehabt :) knapp 2mm, 16.10.2021.

am 16.10.2021 sah ich diese ca. 15 mm großen Käfer im Tierpark (Bierer Berg, Schönebeck) in einem Terrarium. Ausgeschildert waren allerdings nur die Ameisen (Lasius emarginatus).
