On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Jürgen, dieser Bockkäfer gehört in die Gattung Arhopalus. Wir sind in Deutschland mit zwei Arten gesegnet, die sich über die Behaarung der Augen unterscheiden lassen. Leider ist die Fotoqualität nicht ausreichend, um dieses Merkmal zu erkennen. A. rusticus ist die deutlich häufigere der beiden Arten.
Mit dem nachgelieferten foto B ist es A. rusticus, die Härchen auf den Augen sind zu erkennen. lg, Gernot

diesen Käfer habe ich am 08.09.2013 im Naturschutzgebiet der Mooswaldseen gesehen. Höhe etwa 450 m ü. NN. Sieht aus wie Necrophorus vespillo.

PS/Hallo Gernot,
Die "Bodyguards" von #31708 die schlecht zu sehen waren,sollten
auch die Pappelblattkumpels sein,hatte die Priorität in Sachen Fokussierung nur auf den Augenfleckkäfer gelegt,deshalb fehlten die relevanten Details.
