On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Und zum wohl allerersten Mal fand ich dann auch einen Käfer an Wegerich: dieser Rüssli saß am 1.5.22 an breitblättrigem Wegerich. Ein Trachyphloeus, und er geht sogar: jeder Zwischenraum beborstet, Fühler mit Furche, und vor allem der geknickte Fühlerschaft: mein erster Trachyphloeus scabriculus. 3.4 mm. Lieben Dank und Gruß

Request: Der beste Fund an diesem Tag war aber dieser Staphy (3.5.22, unter Strohresten am Boden, 4.6 mm oder eine Spur mehr). Weil er zappelig war, sind die Bilder Mist, aber er sieht für mich trotzdem sehr nach Zyras collaris aus. Von dem gibt's ja noch nicht viele Meldungen. Herzlichen Dank und viele Grüße

Also nach Hause, ab in den Kühlschrank, dann sind sie still, Fotobecher auf ein gefrorenes Kühlelement stellen, dann sind sie ganz langsam, und auch dann ist es gar nicht so einfach, diese Höcker am Schildchen rauszuarbeiten. Aber es sieht so aus, als wäre der Fund vom Botanischen Garten gestern kein Einzelfall.
