View answered requests for beetle ID
|
On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 29.10.2015 im Uferbereich eines Bachs im Kies. 475m üNn. Ca.5-6mm.
LG, Christoph

Request: 30.05.2015 in Westouter- Broekelzen - Belgium. 5mm
Species, family:
Nebria brevicollis/salina

Comment: Hi Manval, this is either Nebria brevicollis or Nebria salina. Both species can be distiguished by the colour of certain mouth parts. Yet, this region is not visible on your photo, so no clear determination here. Best regards, Fabian
