On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 05.09.2023, Gießen. Da die Gelege von Stenoria analis aus etwa 100 bis 300 Eiern bestehen, enthalten die Triungulinen-Cluster entsprechend der Gelegegröße eine entsprechende Zahl von Larven. Da bei einem Kontakt mit einem Bienenmännchen nie alle Larven auf einmal überwechseln können, bilden die übriggebliebenen Larven immer wieder neue Cluster. Eine einzelne Larve kann kein Bienenmännchen anlocken. So kommt es irgendwann einmal auch zu sehr kleinen Clustern, wie hier zu sehen ist. Ob sich hier aber Bienenmännchen verführen lassen, ist sehr fraglich.
