On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Moin Joerg, Silpha nicht, aber immerhin Familie Silphidae. Oiceoptoma thoracica, die Rothalsige Silphe, ist es. Viele Grüße, Klaas Hm, bei Oiceoptoma müsste das Pronotum wenigstens auch vorne gelb sein oder gleich der ganze Seitenrand. Ich denke hier eher an Silpha. LG, Christoph

Request: I've found this longhorn beetle in the IV. district of Budapest, in Farkas-erdő on 30.06.2016. It was about 10-15 mm long, maybe a bit larger.

Request: Hallo in die Runde, diesen ca. 3-4 mm großen (sehr flugfreudigen) Rüsselkäfer fand ich am 14.05.2017 in der Okeraue, nördl. Harzvorland, am Rand eines Teiches. Leider gelang mir nur dieser eine Schuss. Ich finde ihn leider nicht in der Familienübersicht, wahrscheinlich Blindheit. Geht da was? LG Gerwin

Request: I found this beetle on the Northern Railway Bridge between the IV. and the III. district in Budapest on 03.07.2017. It was at least 55 mm, maybe even larger. I'm almost sure that it's a Körnerbock, Megopis scabricornis, but I'd like to confirm it since there are some similar species.
